Dr.Shankar Kadam is Consultant - Cardiac Anaesthesiology at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
After completing Fellowship in Cardiac Anaesthesia at the famous Narayana Hrudualaya Bangalore, He is working and excelling in the field of Paediatric Cardiac Anaesthesia and Pediatric cardiac intensive care unit. The pediatric cardiac intensive care unit in KDAH is 24 bedded ICU with all modern facilities to manage pre and post pediatric cardiac surgical patients. ICU has the facility of ECMO, Inhaled NO, HFOV, modern ventilators, etc etc. He has immense experience in managing even very small neonate in the operating room and intensive care unit. He is well versed in Intraoperative TEE for Congenital Heart Disease. He has observed pediatric cardiac surgical units of various hospitals like Great Ormond Street Hospital(GOSH) UK and gathered experience in the field of pediatric cardiac ICU and anaesthesia.
