About Dr. Aparna Ramakrishnan 
Prior to joining KDAH, Dr. Aparna Worked as Asst Professor In Psychiatry at Grant Govt Medical College And Sir JJ Group Of Hospitals(Medical Council Of India recognized). She also has experience of working in BMC colleges such as Seth GS Medical College and KEM hospital and KB Bhabha (Bandra) hospital. She has worked as Asst Professor in Psychiatry at D Y Patil Hospital, Navi Mumbai (MCI Recognized) She was also an Undergraduate teacher for MBBS students (Maharashtra University of Health Sciences recognized), a teacher for postgraduate (Psychiatry) residents, nursing and physiotherapy courses and a guest lecturer at various institutions. After joining KDAH, Dr. Aparna has been involved in medical management as well as counseling and psychotherapy of patients with mental health issues. She has been involved in the management of mental health issues and psychiatric symptoms in patients with medical illnesses as a part of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. She has been teaching nursing students of KDAH, taking lectures on Stress Management during induction programs and during health camps and has been an active participant in interdepartmental awareness programs. She also does pre-transplant mental fitness evaluations.
